TEAM ELITE'S DIRECTORS
Ameer Shamsud-din
Founder of Team Elite Basketball, coach Ameer an Adidas trainer and partner has trained athletes of all ages and has a passion for developing the youth.
Team Elite, was created to develop and enhance athletes' skill set, mentorship and incorporate an ELITE mindset. Ameer, brings decades of basketball knowledge and wisdom playing at the Division 1 level and professionally in Spain and NBA G-League.
Began coaching in 2018 and has had great success, receiving NBA and overseas coaching offers.
Rometra Craig-Shamsud-din
Co-Founder of Team Elite Basketball, Bay Area Native attended Archbishop MItty where she was California State Athlete of the Year & WBCA All-American.
Rometra played at Duke University, where she double majored in sociology and psychology, including a masters in coaching and athletic administration. Rometra is an experienced teacher, mentor, coach, entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience.
Rometra, also an Adidas trainer and partner, has developed players like Hannah Jump, a Stanford University standout who has been training with Rometra since 5th grade. Rometra has also trained Briana Roberson, a Stanford alumni who went on to play professionally for PEAC-PECS in Hungary and RPK Araski in Vitoria Gasteiz, Basque Country, Spain.
